Alder: Jordan Brown was voted on the School Council by the rest of the year council.
Beech: Josh Wellbrook has helped to organise this blog and has taught Ms Flynn a lot about IT. Grace Seely ran in the 10k Blackheath race at the weekend and managed to complete it in 40 minutes.10k in 40 minutes its very good. Grace also captained the Under 15 England Football Girls Football squad at Easter. Katie Brunt has an English coursework folder in which every piece of work is A*
Ceder: Jack Kelly has been selected as a Goalkeeper for the Kent County Squad. Ifte Ahmed will be completing his Duke of Edinburgh award in September/October 2009. Emma Brigly is competing at Eagles Field in the summer. She will be show jumping with her horse Ritchie. Tommy Forrest recently swam with dolphins on a trip to America.
Elm: Scott Hunt is part of the school council.
Fir: Kelly Mitchell has recently won awards in the Warragil show jumping competition on her horse 'Buster'. She was awarded two 1st's. Connor Blasby has been working incredibly hard on his music in the band. His drumming skills are amazing (he drums constantly at the moment on the desk!)He is in a band with Jordon Brown, Jack Healy, Aaron Green. Leanne Barnes attends the Bexleyheath stage school and has taken part in some brilliant shows. She took part in a competition last year in London and came first. The pupils all won a trip to Euro Disney.
Holly: Josh Kier has represented the school at dance in the Trust Finals. He also won the Bexley Dance Championships with Lawrence, last year. Jack Weatherley had Kent football trials. Grace Rowe has a successful dance career and has appeared in Billy Elliott in the West End.
Maple: Nicole Miners performed at the O2 for the Olympic bid for 2012.
Oak: Samantha Rowlands got through to the finals of Trusts got Talent performing a dance routine with Josh and Jack. Jade France has typed up most of this blog to date (14th July 2009).
Poplar: Shaun Butler came third in Bexley for a Speakout Challenge and won a Jack Petchey Award. He is also our form tutor council rep.
Rowan:
Willow: Laurence Odulawa has won a Jack Petchy award for sport. Shaun Taylor is playing in goal for a Welling football team. The band of Jacob Luker, Lewis O'Brian, Ben Pabla and Jake Cox performed at the Danson Festival on Saturday 4th of July.
